About Hotel Village
Hotel Village is a resort hotel where guests can enjoy their stay in the forest away from the hot spring resort area of Kusatsu.
Hotel Village has a swimming pool and a hot spring facility, Terme Terme. The pool facility has an indoor pool, an outdoor pool available in summer, a toddler pool, and a Jacuzzi.
The hot spring facilities include a sleeping bath, indoor baths with warm and hot water, a natural hot spring, a medium-temperature sauna, a high-temperature sauna, a mist sauna, a foot bath, and a jacuzzi.
There are 47 aerial athletic attractions that can be enjoyed while overlooking the forest surrounding the Hotel Village.
Other activities include tennis courts, a putting green, an iron golf course, a forest golf course, a forest maze, archery, fishing rafting, and cycling.
During the winter season when there is snow, visitors can rent sleighs and snowshoes.
Because of the abundant nature surrounding the hotel, guides are available for forest walks and guided tours of Kusatsu's hot spring resort area via a shuttle bus.
The hotel has a buffet restaurant, a French restaurant, and a Japanese restaurant, so you will never be bored with the food.

About Access
Kusatsu Onsen Hotel Village is served by a shuttle bus that runs on a regular schedule from the Kusatsu Bus Terminal.
It is 1.6 km from the Kusatsu Bus Terminal to the hotel, so it will take about 25 minutes to walk there.
Parking for those who rent a car is available for 160 cars on the hotel grounds and is free of charge.

There is a separate log house a short distance from the hotel.
The rig house has a kitchen, so you can cook your own meals.

You may feel inconvenienced because you need to move to go to the hot spring baths in the main building.
About the Baths
Hotel Village has a large public bath located on the basement floor of the main building and a swimming pool & hot spring, Terme Terme.
The large baths include indoor and outdoor baths, and the hot spring water is from Yubatake.

The large baths are available from 2:30 p.m. to 11 a.m. the next day, so you can take a bath even late at night.
In the hot spring and sauna zone of the pool and spa Thermae Thermae, there is Watanoyu, where you can enjoy Watanoyu source water, and the Thermae Thermae Bathhouse, which is fed by the Bandai Mine source water.

This was our first time using the hotel with our children.
We really enjoyed the abundance of activities.
I think it is very cost effective to use the resort pass for 2 days.
The room was spacious and we were able to use it comfortably as a family.
The buffet does not have that many kinds of food, but each dish was delicious and you could feel the attention to detail in each dish, such as having local dishes.
The meat and seafood dishes were both delicious.
The hot springs were wonderful, just like in Kusatsu.
