Access, Rooms, Baths, and Meals at Kusatsu Onsen no Oyado KONOHA with 23 different baths and half-buffet dinner with all-you-can-drink

About Oyado KONOHA

Oyado KONOHA in Kusatsu Onsen has 23 different bathtubs and two different sources of hot spring water for the large baths shared with Tokinoniwa.

There are also three free private open-air baths for those who wish to enjoy the hot springs in private, so guests can enjoy many baths if they stay overnight.

Rooms are not only tatami mat rooms with futon bedding for sleeping, but also rooms with twin beds or double beds are available.

The rooms are more compact than those at Ki no Niwa, which have hot spring baths in the rooms, and the food is more basic, so you can enjoy the same large baths at a more reasonable price.

The location of Oyado KONOHA is about 1.1 km away from Yubatake, so a 20-minute walk will take you there.

It is not convenient for sightseeing in Yubatake or the hot spring resort area on foot, but a shuttle bus to Yubatake runs from 5:30 p.m., so those who go sightseeing in Yubatake at night may want to use this service.

Dinner at Oyado KONOHA is half-buffet style, where you can eat as much tempura, grilled dishes, small dishes, and desserts as you like, in addition to the main course.

The hotel also offers an overnight stay plan with unlimited draft beer, shochu, and other alcohol and soft drinks.

Oyado KONOHA is recommended for its large bathhouse with many baths, half-buffet meals, and all-you-can-drink alcoholic beverages at reasonable accommodation rates.

Access to the Inn

The inn offers a shuttle bus service from the Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal to the inn that runs on a regular schedule.

For those traveling by Shinkansen bullet train to JR Karuizawa Station, a reservation-only shuttle service from JR Karuizawa Station is also available.

For those traveling by rental car, there is a 70-car parking lot on the inn's premises where you can park for free.

About the Rooms

The rooms at Oyado KONOHA are more reasonably priced than those at Tokinoniwa, but this is because the rooms at Oyado KONOHA are smaller, ranging from 21 to 27 square meters in size, compared to 24 to 67 square meters at Ki no Niwa.

If you can divide your room into two categories, Oyado KONOHA and Ki no Niwa, you can stay in a Ki no Niwa room.

The types of rooms are as follows.

Japanese style twin type

Amenities include hand towels, bath towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, combs, brushes, hair dryers, samue, razors, and cotton swabs.

The largest rooms are Japanese-style rooms, but if you do not like to sleep on futons, we recommend twin-bed or double-bed rooms of the same size.

About the Baths

The large baths available to guests staying at Oyado Konoha are the Tokino-yu and Ko-no-yu, which are adjacent to each other, and each has a men's and a women's use.

The men's and women's baths are switched by the hour.

Tokino-yu is fed by Watanoyu's spring water, and has a barrel bath, ancient cypress bath, sleeping bath, rock bath, open-air bath, bedrock bath, dry sauna, and wet sauna.
(PR)

The Kono-yu is fed by the hot water source of Yukawa, and has a barrel bath, a dream bath that generates negative ions in the form of microscopic bubbles, an indoor bath with hot and lukewarm water, and a rock bath.
(PR)

The large baths are spacious, but the combined number of rooms at Konoha and Tokinoniwa is 111, so it can get crowded at times.

For those who wish to enjoy the hot springs in private, there are three free private open-air baths, but there may be a wait to use these baths during busy times.

The source of the hot spring water in the private open-air baths is Yukawa-no-yu.
(PR)

After taking a bath, ice cream popsicles and Yakult are served at the after-bath area, which is very popular.

About the food at meals

When staying at Konoha, meals are served at the restaurant Unkai.

Dinner is served at the table in advance and includes sashimi, roast beef, and a Japanese main dish.
(PR)

The food is not only this, but there is a buffet corner where you can take and eat as much tempura, small bowl dishes, simmered dishes, rice, soup, pickles, and dessert as you like.
(PR)

You can eat as much of these dishes as you like, so you will be full.

Depending on the accommodation plan, you may be able to drink as much alcohol as you like, including draft beer, sake, sour highballs, shochu, wine, etc., and soft drinks.

word-of-mouth evaluation

This is my second time staying here.
Kyoritsu Resort definitely has a relaxing and soothing atmosphere throughout the entire building.
The rooms and meals are quite ordinary, but the hot springs are wonderful.
I would like to go back again for the hot spring.
On the morning of the second day, we took two private baths.
The inn is full of attractions that make you want to conquer all the large baths and private baths.

Contributor B
When you check in, you can take off your shoes and walk on tatami mats.
The room was larger and cleaner than I had imagined.
There were three types of free private baths, and the system was very easy to understand with a panel at the entrance showing the availability.
The large bath and open-air bath were just like a hot spring.
It smelled of sulfur and made my skin smooth and smooth.
Dinner was a half-buffet style, with a list of sashimi and hot pot dishes prepared at the table in advance, and other dishes available at the buffet.
We were able to eat as much as we wanted and were very satisfied.
The half buffet included freshly fried tempura, Gunma's specialty, steamed egg custard, and other delicacies.
For the evening meal, we had ramen noodles, which were available free of charge.
The free service of popsicles and Yakult after bath is also good.
The service was very good and very refreshing.
