Access, Rooms, Baths, and Meals at the new modern Japanese-style Aeruyado Takamatsu in Kusatsu Onsen

Aeruyado Takamatsu is a new onsen ryokan that was built in 2020 after a complete renovation of the hotel that existed before.

 

All rooms are modern Japanese-style rooms with twin beds, so even those who do not like sleeping on futons on tatami mats can be accommodated.

 

Rooms are also available for families or groups of up to six people, with two rooms that can be connected together.

 

There are also rooms with open-air baths that draw hot spring water from Yubatake, so those who do not like to share a large bath with others can enjoy the hot spring in their rooms.

 

Aeruyado Takamatsu is located 450 meters along the road from Yubatake, so it takes about five minutes to walk there.

 

There is no restaurant in the inn where you can have dinner, so those staying with a plan that includes dinner will have kaiseki cuisine at the restaurant of its sister inn, Joy no Yado Takamatsu.

 

It is also recommended to stay in the plan without dinner and have dinner at a popular restaurant in the hot spring resort area.

 

We recommend staying at Aeruyado Takamatsu because rooms with an open-air bath in the hot spring are available at reasonable prices.

Aeruyado Takamatsu offers a free shuttle service from the Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal, so it is recommended to use this service.

 

 

Aeruyado Takamatsu is 500 meters from the Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal, so it takes about 10 minutes to get there on foot.

 

If you are driving a rental car, you can park for free in the parking lot right next to the inn building.

Aeruyado Takamatsu was completely renovated in 2020, so the rooms are very clean.

On the first floor of Aeruyado Takamatsu, there are separate large public baths for men and women, with indoor and outdoor baths and saunas.

It is a pleasure to be able to take a bath in the hot spring baths that flow into Yubatake, a popular tourist attraction in Kusatsu Onsen.

 

There is also a BEDROCK BATH and SAUNA in the large bathroom.

There are two private baths available for a fee on the fourth floor of the sister property, Yorokobinoyado Takamatsu, for those who wish to enjoy the hot springs in private.

Near the inn is Otaki-no-yu, a spacious hot spring facility where you can bathe in the precious hot spring water of the Nigawa source in Kusatsu Onsen, so we recommend that you also use this facility for those who love hot springs.

Since Aeruyado Takamatsu does not have a restaurant, dinner will be a kaiseki-zen meal featuring Jyoshu Japanese beef at the restaurant of its sister property, Yorokobinoyado Takamatsu.
